Vicki Jackson, LMSW, Supervisee In Social Work

Vicki Jackson, LMSW, is a Licensed Master Social Worker and certified life coach who supports children (6+), adolescents, teens, young adults, and adults in building greater ease, focus, and emotional steadiness in their daily lives. As a U.S. Army Veteran, Vicki has a special understanding of the unique experiences and stressors connected to military life and works with many military members, veterans, and families navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, parenting challenges, grief and loss, and relationship stressors. Vicki also works with individuals with disabilities, including autism, providing compassionate and individualized support tailored to each client’s unique strengths and needs.

Vicki provides a warm, nonjudgmental, and collaborative space where clients can feel supported while developing practical tools for everyday life. Using a strengths-based and trauma-informed approach, Vicki incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychoeducation, parent coaching, and life coaching strategies to help clients manage intrusive thoughts, regulate emotions, strengthen relationships, and build resilience and confidence. Clients can expect sessions that are compassionate, grounded, and focused on meaningful progress they can apply outside of therapy.

In addition to being LGBTQIA+ affirming and trauma-informed, Vicki has specialized experience working with survivors of human trafficking, child abuse and neglect, military families, and youth with problematic sexual behaviors (PSB-CY). Vicki is also a facilitator of the Nurturing Parenting Program for Military Families. Vicki believes that reaching out for support takes courage, especially for those who are used to carrying so much for others, and strives to create a space where clients feel understood, empowered, and never alone in the healing process.
