THERAPIST
Margaret Cooper, LPC
Margaret "Maggie" Cooper, LPC, believes that everyone deserves a safe space to work through their emotions and learn to manage them effectively.
Maggie received her Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2020 and has been working in outpatient services ever since. She has experience working with clients of all ages, and specializes in working with kids, teens and young adults to manage the effects of anxiety, depression, ADHD and trauma. She also enjoys working with adults on emotion regulation, communication skills and maintaining healthy relationships and boundaries.
Maggie uses a person-centered approach in her work with clients, as every client has different needs and responds to techniques differently. Maggie takes her time getting to know the client and allows them the space to work through their difficulties while providing them with tools they can use to assist them throughout the counseling process. Maggie strives for her office to be a space where clients feel as though they can truly be themselves with no judgment while they work to identify and manage their needs. She works with individuals aged 5 and up.
