Eric Snader, Resident in Counseling, provides a calm and personalized therapeutic space for children and adults, meant to help support clients in achieving their therapeutic goals and living their life as the best versions of themselves. Eric strives to build and maintain a strong therapeutic rapport with his clients, and ascribes to the belief that the efficacy of therapy is strongly tied to the strength of trust within the therapeutic relationship.
Eric has a specific focus on serving those with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, loss, or religious trauma. Eric views counseling from a holistic viewpoint. As such, Eric utilizes a dynamic approach to therapeutic modalities, including the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Play Therapy, Art/Expressive Therapy, and Brainspotting. Eric is LGBTQIA+ affirming, trauma-informed, and sensitive to the needs of his clients. Eric is currently provisionally licensed as a Resident in Counseling in the State of Virginia and currently works with children, teens, and adults.
