THERAPIST
Dionna Walker, LCSW
Dionna is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who supports teens, adults, couples, and families navigating challenges such as anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, and self-esteem. She is committed to creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to move toward their personal goals.
Dionna earned both her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. She uses an integrative approach tailored to each client’s needs, drawing from evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure Therapy, and the Gottman Method.
She believes therapy is not a one-size-fits-all experience and works collaboratively with clients to build insight, develop practical skills, and foster meaningful, lasting change. Whether clients are working through difficult experiences or building on personal strengths, Dionna values the opportunity to support growth, resilience, and overall well-being.
In her free time, Dionna enjoys traveling, exploring interior design, watching her favorite shows, spending time with her family, and relaxing with her Yorkie pup!
